I remember growing up in the 90s I had a Super Nintendo which was the most advanced console at the time but after a few months of playing a new game it would only working after giving the cartridge a few good blows to clean off the dust. Understanding symbolism of images is important because images are everywhere, on the internet, on posters, on bus stands and all over the media, everywhere we look there are images. Images can bring people together in peace or divide people and could create conflict. Images can be signs of respect or they can be offensive to others, they can be used as love, hate, political statements, or can be a symbol that sparks a war. That is why it is extremely important that we think deeply in what images we would like to use or present to people.
