The Impact of Technology and Ethical Issues Technology has become a necessity to the everyday living of the human race. Everywhere you look people are on their smart phones. These numbers have increased rapidly over the past 10years. If you were to catch a train in Sydney today, it will be very difficult to find people not using a smart phone or actually socialising with complete strangers. Technology is also taking over a large number of jobs with the use of self ordering and self help computers in fast food and general supermarkets e.g Mcdonald's, Woolworths, Coles etc. This then comes to the question: Is technology helping society develop and prosper? Or does the negative effects of technology such as, over dependence of electronics, ant- socialism, loss of privacy and personal information being stolen for the public use of commercial organisations to over power the individual.
